The Flying Carpet lift is the longest carpet lift in the Northeastern US. It is new this year (2002-2003) replacing the Sunbeamer. I have not used this lift yet but by the looks of it it is very slow. It services three beginner trails and it is very popular with ski school. Once you have skiied with this lift once the second time is most likeyl the best time to use to get out of there and avoid all the beginners. If you are a beginner this lift is your friend because all you do is ski onto it and stand there.
