The Sun Bowl Quad is pretty much the advanced user lift. It services most of the mountain but is located in the Sun Bowl Area. To get to this lift you have to either go up the Sunapee Express Quad or the North Peak Triple.
This lift usually takes forever to us coming up out of the bowl but it is the only way out. The lift is the only upside down lift at Sunapee. Strangely enough, there is more power at the summit of the mountain than there is at the bottom of the bowl. The terrain in the bowl that it services is the best though, and it is worth the wait to get on the lift and take it to the summit. The lift is relitively sheltered from the cold and wind until you get to the brow of
the hill. There you usually get blasted with a big blast of wind. This lift is also my favorite. On a bad day the lift could stop at this point. It's not fun. If you like long lift rides, that are normally sheltered, this lift is for you.
