Hansen Chase

Hansen Chase has some of the best intermediate terrain that Mt. Sunapee has to offer. It has lift line skiing, mogul skiing, as well as being wide with a few headwalls to get some air off of. To get to it you can go up to the summit and ski Westside to Chase Ledges (Once you get to the end of Westside keep going straight and you'll be dumped out onto it.) Or you can go to the top fo North Peak and ski Upper Hansen Chase to Chase Ledges to Hansen Chase. It starts off with the same pitch that Chase Ledges ends with and then goes underneath the Sunapee Express. The trail then follows the Express to the base with headwalls and a small patch of bumps off to skier's left. Towards the end it flattens out.I ski this quite a few times a day when I am over towards that side of the mountain, and I would recommend this trail as a first or second run.
