Lower Blast-Off is Upper Blast-Off's brother is the best lower escape from going down Lower Ridge. This trail starts off the bottom of Upper Blast-Off and goes down to the Sunapee Lodge and the Sunapee Express Quad. It starts out with a nice moderate pitch to it, which continues down to a point about 3/4s of the way down the trail, when it flattens out. This is the best escape from coming down Upper Blast-Off and it makes it so that you can avoid the flattness and crowdedness of Beck Brook and Lower Ridge.
