Outer Ridge is a good alternative to the amount of idiots on Upper Ridge steep. It starts near the middle of Upper Ridge just before you get to Upper Ridge steep. It is a great narrow blue, when it has snow. This trail does not hold snow very well and has a double fall line. It has no snowmaking and is hardly ever open. If it is open and there has been good snow fall I would recommend taking this trail.
